Busy Boy's Performance & Halloween Fun!

Okay, so Blogger uploading my pics in reverse order and I am too tired to fix it LOL So, we will start with Halloween and work our way backwards!

We had a great Halloween night! The kids were so excited because it was warm out and it did not rain. The original forecast called for rain! That would have been a FIRST LOL Bug went as a Butterfly Fairy and Busy Boy went as a Ninja. The dog flipped out when he saw BB! He did not like the mask at all! We spent about an hour out trick or treating. Bug even ran into a friend of hers so that was kinda cool. We had so many kids that we ran out of candy and had to resort to their loot...shhhhhh!!!

Halloween day we carved the HUGE pumpkins we got at the pumpkin patch last weekend. The kids had a ball! Bug loved scooping out the guts with her hands where as BB did not like that much at all. LOL The both had fun helping carving them out though. They traced their hands onto their pumpkins in a SCREAM type face. So fun. We also had to take our annual Halloween t-shirt photo!

Friday night was the Halloween party at the kid's daycare so they got to have a trial run of their costumes without all the makeup. LOL The party was fun and included dinner and all proceeds benefited the Make A Wish Foundation. One cause I truly support and believe in. We had Rubio's for dinner at their daycare, the kids got to play games and they also had auctions. We didn't win anything but the money was well spent for a GREAT cause!

Last Wednesday night, Busy Boy had his school performance. He was a zebra and even had 2 lines to say! He was so proud! He did really well and had a lot of fun. I was bummed because the only picture I have of him saying his lines is blurry because some mom rushed into the back of me as I was snapping it. GRRR.

It has been HOT here again this week. It was cold last week and now it is back in the high 80's low 90's! What the heck? This is so unusual for here. We have been coming close to breaking record highs from the 1900's...lovely.

Hope you all had a great Halloween!

Noah had the exact same costume, except for a black mouth cover (since we lost the first one)
